    • Thank you!! I don’t believe I’ve seen you here before … so welcome. May I ask what you liked best?

      • The whole story was great because of the unique way you described the smoking. It was very sensual. But the last sentence sums the difference between cigarette smoking and other types of smoking like cigars very aptly. I’ve never smoked a proper cigar, but plan to someday. I recently had my first pipe smoking experience and I would have to say that the comparison can be applied there as well. Cigarettes are definitely quickies, that leave you temporarily satisfied but yearning for more. The pipe I smoked, and I assume it would be likewise for cigars left me feeling very, very satisfied for much longer.By the way- I’ve enjoyed your other stories as well, this is just my first time commenting.

      • Pipes – I just love the way a pipe smells. Even more than a cigar to be honest. But in a “little girl loves her Daddy” kind of way. My father smoked a very handsome pipe. In fact I have his collection. He collected these fancy pipes, with sculptured heads, or the long body of a woman or a bird …. Some are very old and made of ivory (cringe) but they are beautiful. Even better for me, now that he is no longer with me, the ones he smoked still have some of the burnt tobacco in them – I can’t bring myself to toss. I like having that half smoked pipe of his. Even 10 years after his death it brings me comfort to sniff it. Perhaps one day I will light it up – and finish it. That would be rather poetic.

I loved the process of filling the pipe, tapping down the tobacco and teasing it to take …. So yes I agree it is very much like a cigar in it’s reverence for tobacco.

I am glad I got you out of the closet and commenting. Especially since, like smoked you seem to actually interact *gasp*

        *big grin*

    • Gray! long time no see! oooh you must really have liked this one … a comment from you … how lovely! There is something manly about cigars right? sexy … yes.

  3. An interesting metaphor! I have a pathological dislike of all smoking — cigars, cigarettes or pipes — but nevertheless I can definitely see the allure in the smoke ring, the long slow exhale, the stream of smoke wreathing the face in mysterious allure. It can be very sexy indeed. Of course, in real life I want nothing to do with any of it, but hey, that’s what fantasies are for, isn’t it?

    • If I managed to make it sexy in your fantasy mind – then I would say I succeeded in creating erotica. It’s one thing that has always made me say “that was good”. If a person can turn me on – or at least make me see the allure in something I normally hate – then the writing must have been good. I don’t like violence for example – but I admit the other day when I went to Elsie’s site – I was turned on. It disturbed me in fact – that I was seeing an attraction in something pathologically dislike. So … PB … Thank you.

  4. Smoked my last Dannemann Speciale Sumatra with you story. Aaaah, such a nice long inhalation of smoke to be exhaled equally slowly with your lovely imagery.

“Cigarettes were like quickies, and cigars were like tantric sex.” I couldn’t agree more if I was choking to death on love.

    Perhaps, I am.

    • Dannemann Speciale Sumatra what an interesting choice Hen! A cigarillo with a smooth, balanced aroma and abundant character, but not excessively strong. I would have never guessed!

Choking to death on love – Oh Hen no … Some of us would like the pleasure of your company a little longer at least! Thank you – I am honestly flattered at your continued presence on my blog, and I am glad the moment was an pleasurable one for you.

  5. Very nice, Fantasia. Very nice.

Don’t you and the Lover worry…I’ll be having some cigars soon in my journey. For me, though, even cigarettes are just about savoring a moment, just in a different way. Sort of like a shot of ouzo as opposed to a well-aged Scotch or sipping whiskey. But when you only smoke a couple times a week, and only right before bedtime (which already makes me an odd cigarette smoker), it puts a different spin on things.

Again, though, a very sultry and smoky entry to your portfolio of sexiness, Fantasia. Perhaps one day I’ll be able to blow a cigar-smoke necklace ’round my wife’s tasty neck.

    • I hope you do have that experience my friend. Especially you.

I did not write this as a way to goad you into cigar smoking – so it’s funny that you may have thought so. I wrote this as an homage to your fetish and to the many stories you have written that have entertained me. Thus, I am glad you enjoyed it and the imagery was pleasing to you.

      • Oh, I don’t think you’re trying to goad me at all; just want you and the Lover to know that I’m not immune to the persuasive comments from you and others that I must not ignore cigars. 😉

  6. Ahhh… a Cuban Montecristo, a warm glass of OX Cognac and my woman hand-feeding me, first a piece of dark chocolate and then a piece of herself.
I smoke five or six good Cuban cigars a year and I agree with the very wise man in your story that the rituals involved, the slowness of the proceedings, the fire courting the tobacco and the smoke twirling in the mouth but not going further in are what make the experience such an exquisite one.
I’m also an occasional smoker of cigarettes, or more appropriately of “a” cigarette. My favorite is one I roll with my own hands and fill with fresh tobacco and no additives except for the unavoidable glue-less paper.
Tobacco, like alcohol and other forms of “refined” pleasures, are most enthralling when they are consumed in reverence rather than in addiction.
I am, after all, only addicted to her and can’t wait to breathe her scent and relish her taste as it spreads from the tip of my tongue then roll around in my mouth.

That is a sentence I should have had in the story. Simply perfect.

  7. I love how your last few posts haven’t been about the act of sex but rather the imagery of seduction. Very nicely done. I don’t smoke at all and have no knowledge about cigars except that I find the smell of them rather overwhelming. But! My opinion may change if I get to watch my man rolling his between his fingers…mmmmm….oh what a delicious daydream…Thank you. 🙂

    Comment by Silia | February 10, 2010 | Reply

    • I think – as with many things what we like or don’t like is something decided by association. I never liked cigars – until my love was a man that smoked them. Now as soon as I smell a cigar – I think of him.

I thank you for your feedback on the imagery of seduction versus full on erotica. I had a few people complain that I wasn’t “hard core” like I use to be and it did frazzle me and cause me to question. But like others have been so kind to say – I will continue to follow my gut on this one. See where it takes me. I have a few truly “fiction” stories I’d like to write. Again SIlia – thank you! Always nice to read/hear from you.

  8. What a tantalizing story! Very seductive. I can imagine her lips wrapped around the cigar. Absolutely phallic! It gives the term “smoking hot” a whole new meaning.

    • *mirthful laughter* Awe … glad it was good for you!

My Lover would say there is simply nothing sexier than a woman dragging on a cigar … shoes perhaps … really sexy shoes. Both perhaps is best? oooh naked, with sexy shoes, on a bed of white cotton and a nice thick cigar … I feel a story!

  9. Ohhhh myyyy I have never craved the smell of a cigar (and a man who knows how to smoke ’em) more! Another fantasy to add to my collection – thanks!

    • Thanks Emma!! It’s easy enough to act out – although I must add – that smoking a cigar takes time to practice in order to look suave doing it!

  10. Cigars are such a symbol of masculinity. I like the way you combined the physical with the mental elements.
